Weezer Releases New Song & Music Video Starring A Seagull Looking For Love

Weezer fans are getting a followup to 2016's The White Album -- and no, it's not another album relating to a color. The band is set to release their 11th studio album on October 27th, and it's called Pacific Daydream (how appropriate for a band formed on the west coast).

This week, the band shared the album's cover art, as well as a link to pre-order the record, as well as a new song from the record called "Mexican Fender," along with its accompanying music video -- starring a seagull and its quest for love.

In Weezer's "Mexican Fender" music video, directed by Lior Molcho (Sia, Elle King), it's love at first sight for a lonely seagull, who spots a beautiful lady on the beach. This seagull does everything possible to win the object of his affection over; he steals a popsicle, a frisbee, car keys, and a flower, all from other beachgoers, and brings them all to this woman as gifts.

Eventually the seagull is caught in the act of trying to steal another woman's purse, and is yelled at by his lady love. Sad seagull.

But not too sad, because eventually he gets some love.

Pacific Daydream will be released on October 27th, and also features their previously released single "Feels Like Summer."
