After a record-setting 2018, the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival announces its eagerly-awaited 2019 lineup. Long known for its wide variety of genres, the forty-third annual Beale Street Music Festival holds to that tradition, presenting a lineup with something for everyone: rock, alternative, R&B, hip hop, indie, pop, and blues.
Festival favorites who are returning to headline this year’s Beale Street Music Festival include Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, G-Eazy, Charlie Wilson, Shinedown, and Gary Clark Jr. Joining them are first-time headliners Khalid, OneRepublic, and Cardi B, coming off her history-making win Sunday night at the Grammys as the first female to receive Best Rap Album honors.
Other artists featured this year include India.Arie, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Lord Huron, Flogging Molly, 6lack, Trippie Redd, Chvrches, Lil Dicky, Good Charlotte, Big Boi, Dirty Heads, In This Moment, Simple Plan, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Moon Taxi, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Coin and many more.
Tickets can be purchased through eventbrite.com and are sold now through April 19 as three-day passes for just $135 or single-day tickets for $55. A limited number of VIP passes are also available at eventbrite.com for $649 and provide access to exclusive viewing platforms near the main stages and in the Blues Tent, private “comfort station” restrooms, and light snacks and drinks (including limited alcoholic beverages) for all three days.
The festival opens to the public at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 3 and runs through Sunday, May 5. The 2019 Beale Street Music Festival is sponsored by Bud Light, FedEx and Coca-Cola.
