Researchers studied visitors of Oktoberfest in 2015 and came to the conclusion that heavy drinking is bad for you.
The scientists monitored the drinking activities of more than 3,000 men and women during the 16-day beer festival and found that nearly a third of these party people experienced an abnormal heart rhythm at some point during the festival. This is, of course, a much higher percentage than usually seen among people who aren’t chugging beer for 16 days straight. (CBS News)
