THE PEOPLE OF OREGON WILL SOON BE ABLE TO EAT ROADKILL LEGALLY
Thanks to a bill signed by the governor, the people of Oregon will soon be able to legally eat roadkill.
This roadkill bill allows Oregon residents to collect, cook and eat any deer or elk that they hit with their cars.
And since more than 6,000 deer and elk are killed by Oregon drivers every year, we’re talking about a lot of good eatin' out there.
Unfortunately, the law is going to take about a year to actually go into effect.
But, in the meantime, the people of Oregon are still welcome to cook up any small varmints they run over, including coyotes, skunks, nutria, opossum, badgers, porcupines and weasels. These critters remain unprotected … and taste just like chicken
