Since the tenth anniversary of 9/11, after this Boatlift film was published - I've watched it every year since. Always on the same day, September 11th.
It's the story of boats upon boats that came together, to rescue close to a half million people off the island of Manhattan on that Tuesday, September 11, 2001. It's 12 minutes long, and very worth your time.
Additionally, for the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the Cutlers produced a video, telling their story, and also the story of bob Sullivan - a 9/11 rescue worker. The Cutlers are Jim and Dawn Cutler, of whom you know their voices well.
